Props to MYK for letting someone on the EC be heard also. I know the two sides don’t always get along.

I don’t understand why people think WC has something against EC and vice versa. Personally I don’t have anything against EC, I think a lot of the drama was back in the day. Though of course it’s always fun cheering for the guys you train with, though that’s kinda how I guess the shit-talk ensues, oh wells.

As a community though I think we should come together to make our scene even larger than it is now. Screw all the “I’m from here, screw anyone else from elsewhere” crap.

Although I agree with you, I just can’t see that happening. The Tekken community is a competitive one, and people let their egos get out of hand. The line between pride (be it for yourself or your local scene) and cockyness is thin. But like I said, I agree with you and hope things end up as you described.

“What are some of the ways that Miguel is weak”
“His tracking game is bad. PS. He’s got 15 moves that track.”
I swear I had to stop listening to Fab 30 mins in. Love the man, I truly do, but I just couldn’t take anymore of Miguel, Roger, and Bob.

Agreed. Its still the first couple of podcasts though, so MYK’s still learning to balance the info in it. Imo the first podcast was not enough Tekken strategy, and this one was too much Tekken strategy. In the long run, I’m sure it’ll even out

Nice podcast, keep it up 😀

Very cool you’re doing these podcasts and shit. Trying to make the scene grow. Tekken has a bad rep amongst people who are under the impression it’s a bad fighting game. That comes from the retarded media who don’t know dick about fighting games. The last thing Tekken fans should do is fight amongst each other. Focus on them and making them see the light since they have a huge influence over casual scrubs who take their word as gospel. There’s a reason Tekken has been #1 in Japan since DR and that Tekken is the only consistent 3D fighter with a huge scene for over a decade and the only one in all the EVOs since they started allowing other games in. VF, SC, DOA come and go but Tekken has always been here. It’s the Street Fighter of 3D fighters.

More people need to know this stuff so it can get the respect it deserves.

LMFAO Brian I agree with you so much. The gaming media is ignorant and shitty noobs who have too much sway over the populace

I just realized something. Its a show hosted by MYK whos interviewing Fab, and no Steve talk? Discussions made on 3 other characters, but arguably two of the best Steve players from the US have nothing to say about him. Or maybe you guys are just tired of the whole “Steve is or is not top tier” discussion. Well, next time maybe.

No bull! I finally understand what Oki-game means now that i’ve heard this one. I’ve heard every podcast before this one, and still there was a new term that got thrown in on me. I always wanna fire up T6 while listening. Great stuff!!

Fab is a stand up guy. it was nice to hear a top player talk about getting owned in the beginning of his tekken career. losing to blood hawk a ton, some no name random button mashers, going 0-2 in his first tournaments. its inspiring to hear the rough beginnings now that he’s a top player.
