Please do tutorials on Anna & Nina. I am a noob to Tekken with 6. I am working on both of these. I need to get their grapple games going, BUT the starters and combos are impossible to get right even in practice mode, where I turn on the command history ticker tape, I am entering the sequence for for example Anna’s chin bash combo but most of teh time the chin basjh does not occur. Then there is the question how can any human enter the follow up commands for chaining the combo. I have programmed the R1, L1, R2, L2 buttons to enter the key pairs for the starters, I can often get Anna’s bitch slap thing and the cruel punishment to execute, and I now in competition with humans strike right before I make the grapple attempt which boosts the success rate enormously but these don’t chain anything. Same issue with Nina, the combo starters do not normally execute. Usually something else altogether happens. I have also noticed that the longer command inputs have their later parts replicated for other commands, but that is only 1 reason for high failure rate with chin bash, there are others I aml sure like precisely how far you are from the target & things like proximity to walls. Thanks.

Hey just wanted to say that I appreciate what you are doing for those players that want to up there game. The last podcast with Suiken is excellent especially when he talks about Lei you can really tell his love for his Main Character. So with that I wanted to say MYK give us an interview of yourself. I like yourself started playing Steve and moved to Lars. Maybe RIP could interview you this will give us some incite on the Host of the show why you love Tekken and why you flocked to Steve and then to Lars will allow us to connect. Other than that great stuff so far really good. It would be cool if you could get some of the KP or JP on the show even if someone has to to translate.

    Keep up the good work!!

Your site, podcasts and youtube video series are all top notch. I don’t think anything like this has been done as sincere and with as much care before. You and your group are providing an excellent resource to the community. There’s good stuff in your contributions for every type of player, from the casual gamer to the expert tournament go-er. Thank you for this and best wishes on your future endeavors,

    Mike (MBK)

    Hey Mike!
I was just wondering what you would think if the owner of Super organizes a tekken tournament next Saturday or Sunday(Depending on the players’ schedule) . Also what if he takes $1 from everything entrance fee ($5)? Please reply or send me an email if you get the opportunity to.

    Thanks a bunch!
    James

Guys, Just wanted to say thanks for the very interesting podcasts, very informative and amusing.

I am looking forward to competing in SVB X this year, my first tournament, So I am not going to pretend I know what I am on about.

What I would like covered is peoples opinions on Julia, A character hardly mentioned, Even though Devil Jim was using her at EVO. I was just asking because no one who you interview has her in their top 5.

Think it could be an interesting topic.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I have been searching the internet for a specific tech input. I just cant find it. It is a basic move that I think you left out on episode 1 of LUYG. What I am looking for is how to recover from knock away that sends you rolling. I know that you can recover by sliding on your knees I just don’t know how.
I know this is a bit of a newbie question but I hope you can help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jim

    Hi!

I have a suggestion regarding “Avoiding the puddle”. You might have heard of the famous Nina player named Dioxon. He happens to talk English quite well and he is also a very talkative and interesting person. He’s sitting on a lot of in depth info about the game as well as general knowledge of the Korean scene.

I asked him how guesting a show like yours sounded, he said he’s up for it but to tell you guys his English isn’t perfect.

In case you have not heard of him he’s one of the best Nina and DJ players in Korea. He’s fallen short on some big wins but he did manage to OCV team Resurrection(Knee, Holeman, Tongbal Love) in the previous Korean SBO qualifications, something that made a lot of people take notice of him. Here’s some vids with Dioxin from that event:

    1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXnrjQ2Z4lI
    2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezV5cZUr_Dg

If this sounds like a good idea we could do it this friday? A wednesday or Friday would work best for him. I Also asked him to listen to previous episodes so he gets an idea of what it’s all about.

He has recently joined Nstargame as a sponsored player as well. So I’m kinda helping out with this through my work as well as a personal interest, for this reason feel free to ask whatever you want in terms of details or whatever. Maybe I can help out further in some way.

Please consider it and get back to me ^^

    Regards

    David Vidales
